Citigen London Heat Pumps
Client – E.ON
Value – £4m
As part of E.ON’s carbon reduction targets they sought to introduce Heat Pumps into their Citigen Energy centre. We worked closely with the project designer Ramboll to provide cost plan advice on the feasibility study completed. This advice was presented to the business to assess viability. E.ON based on this advice proceeded with the project.
We managed all sub-contractor procurement including preparation of sub-contract agreements. Our commission then included all Commercial Management of works packages throughout the construction phase, including assessment and recommendation of sub-contractor payment applications. Change management including assessment and recommendation on sub-contractor submissions.
Westfield London Energy Centre
Client – E.ON
Value – £15m
E.ON entered an ESCO agreement with Westfield UK to construct an Energy Centre to provide services to their development over a 42-year period. Due to programme constraints early orders were placed for the capital plant items, namely chillers, combined heating power units and cooling towers. We undertook full commercial management duties. Procurement of MEP packages including evaluation and agreement of variation claims for both sub-contractor and client accounts. Preparation of EOT applications to the client, assessment, and recommendations for settlement of sub-contractor EOT applications and loss and expense claims..
